Each year, we enter the Advent season with hearts full of reflection and anticipation. Together, we look back and remember what it may have been like for the Israelites to wait through 400 years of silence — longing for the promised Messiah. And we look forward with the same eager hope, anticipating the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Join us each Sunday of Advent as we pause, remember, and celebrate the faithfulness of God — past, present, and future.

Ladies Mug Swap
It’s time for one of our favorite and longest-standing church traditions — the Ladies Mug Swap!
Join us for a cozy morning of brunch, laughter, and connection as we celebrate the season together. We’ll enjoy a “Dirty Santa”–style mug exchange, so bring a wrapped mug to swap and a brunch item to share.
This is always a joyful time to connect with other women, meet new friends, and kick off the Christmas season together. Don’t miss it!
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Join us for a beautiful and meaningful Christmas Eve Candlelight Service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the hope, peace, and joy of the season.
This special evening will include worshipful Christmas songs we love to sing together, the telling of the Christmas story from Luke 2, and the lighting of our candles from the Christ Candle as we reflect on the Light of the World.
All are welcome—families, friends, and neighbors. Come as you are and experience the wonder of Christmas in a peaceful, worshipful atmosphere.
Axis Basics
Join Axis Basics — a short intro class at 9 AM and 11 AM in the multi-purpose room. Learn who we are, what we believe, our values and ministries, and the first step to join Axis Church.
What to expect:
Axis Basics is a one-session class for anyone curious about who we are, what we believe, and how to get connected at The Axis Church. In a relaxed, welcoming setting you’ll meet leaders, hear our core values and story, learn about ministries and serving opportunities, and get clear next steps for growing your faith and community here. Childcare is available; refreshments provided. Perfect for newcomers or those ready to go deeper.

Men's Night
👊 Men of Axis—this one’s for you!
Our next Men’s Night is happening on Sunday, November 16. This is a time to step away from the busyness of life, share a meal, and be strengthened by God’s Word and by one another. Whether you’ve been here for years or you’re brand new, this night is for you.

World Missions Potluck
🌍 Eat, Connect, Make a Difference! Our World Missions Potluck is Sunday, November 9 at the Neelys’. Bring a dish, share a meal, and support God’s mission globally while connecting with your church family. Details will be sent upon registration.
Axis Park Day
Join us for a fun-filled and joyful Park Day with The Axis Church on October 26, 2025, from 1–4 PM at Moss Wright Park in Goodlettsville. Bring your own lunch and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of fellowship, exciting games, and refreshing outdoor activities with your church family. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, connect deeply, and create lasting memories together in a beautiful, natural setting. We truly look forward to seeing you there and sharing this special time as a community!
Ladies Fall Retreat
Join us for a refreshing getaway at beautiful Center Hill Lake this fall. Over the course of three days, you’ll experience rich biblical teaching from Axis women, meaningful small group time, and space to connect deeply with God and with one another. Let’s set our hearts on Christ and anchor ourselves in the truth of His Word.

Nerf and Nachos
Join us Saturday, September 27th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Morgan Park Community Center for an unforgettable evening of family fun! This is your chance to reconnect with your kids, unleash your inner child, and engage in an epic Nerf battle together. Bring your own Nerf guns, gear up, and get ready for excitement, laughter, and quality time you won’t want to miss.

Join us for The Axis Church Marriage Conference, a special two-day event dedicated to strengthening and enriching your marriage through biblical guidance, effective communication strategies, and meaningful insights into intimacy within marriage.
Event Details:
The cost is $49 per couple.
Dates: September 12-13, 2025
Times:
Friday Evening session: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (dinner provided)
Saturday Morning session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (breakfast served at 8:30 AM)
Location: The Axis Church
Childcare: Available at $10 per child, maximum $30 per family
Purpose: To provide couples with practical tools and spiritual encouragement to grow together in faith and love
