Welcome to the axis church!
If you are considering attending a Sunday morning service, we pray that you would take the vulnerable step and come check it out! We can’t fully describe what you will experience, but at least we can try to give you an idea of what to expect. Below are some frequently asked questions to ease your mind about joining us this Sunday.
-
Most parking is located behind the building—follow the signs to the main entrance.
Handicap parking is available on the north side of the building, and visitor parking is located on the south side.
-
After parking, please follow these directions:
Rear lot: Follow the signage up the stairs to the main rear entry.
North side (accessible): Use the ramp door on the north side or the front door under the steeple.
Guest lot (south side): Follow signage up the steps to the front main entry.
Handicap parking: Park in the north lot — it is the only ramp entry.
-
We offer an infant, toddler, preschool, lower elementary, and upper elementary classes.
Moms- if you need a place to nurse or quiet a crying child, we have a room just for you, please come to the Axis Kids check in desk and they will direct you! The sermon is playing on a TV so you can still be a part of the service.
-
On a Sunday you might see people in a suit and tie, others in a t-shirt and shorts, and a lot in between. We believe that God doesn’t expect us to clean ourselves up before we come to Him and that we are His church; so we discourage religious-pretending and encourage folks to “come as you are.”
-
Our worship gatherings usually last around 90 minutes and include worship through music, catechism, the preaching of God’s Word, prayer, and communion. We also periodically celebrate through believer’s baptism.
