Defending the Faith: Apologetics & Evangelism

Lead Instructor: Zach Robar

Location: Educational Building, Room C-107 (First Floor)

How do we know the Bible is trustworthy? How do we lovingly answer difficult questions about Christianity? How can we faithfully share the gospel with people from different religious backgrounds and worldviews?

This 12-week class will equip you to defend the Christian faith with gentleness and respect while becoming a more faithful witness for Christ. Topics include the reliability of Scripture, the person of Jesus, essential Christian doctrine, and practical evangelism among Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Church of Christ, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims, Jews, and those influenced by witchcraft, New Age spirituality, and other competing worldviews.

Whether you're new to apologetics or looking to sharpen your understanding, this class will help you grow in both conviction and compassion.

Studying the Bible Together

Lead Instructor: Pastor Steve Robinson

Location: Educational Building, Room C-105 (First Floor)

What if you approached a book of the Bible as though you were opening it for the very first time?

Join Pastor Steve for an ongoing, discussion-driven study where the class will choose together which book of the Bible to begin studying during the very first session on August 9. Rather than rushing through familiar passages, you'll slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and discover together the richness of God's Word.

If you enjoy careful Bible study, meaningful discussion, and learning alongside others, this class is for you.

Fundamentals of the Faith

Lead Instructor: James Killian

Location: Café Located on the first floor located near the Fellowship Hall

Whether you're a new believer, considering church membership, or simply want to strengthen your foundation in the Christian faith, Fundamentals of the Faith is an excellent place to begin.

This 8-week course covers the essential doctrines and practices of the Christian life, including the Bible, the character of God, the person and work of Jesus Christ, salvation, the Holy Spirit, prayer, the church, spiritual gifts, evangelism, obedience, and discovering God's will.

The class is designed to be offered on a continual rotation, making it easy to jump in and build a solid biblical foundation no matter where you are in your walk with Christ.

Axis Kids will be available during Sunday School for infants through elementary-aged children, making it easy for the whole family to participate. We hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity to grow in God's Word while your children are being taught and cared for in a safe, gospel-centered environment.
