Sergio grew up in Northern California, where he met his wife, Holly. Married since 1996, they have five children and are expecting their first grandchild. He earned his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2000 and has served churches nationwide, including 13 years with LifeWay Christian Resources as a Ministry Specialist and Church Consultant. Most recently, he pastored Madison First Baptist before its incorporation into Axis Church. He enjoys camping and visiting U.S. National Parks with his family.
