Daniel serves as the Executive Pastor at The Axis Church, where he is grateful for the opportunity to help the church pursue its mission of making disciples and displaying the glory of Christ through healthy leadership and faithful ministry.
Originally from Atlanta, Daniel moved to the Charlotte area as a child and came to saving faith in Jesus Christ in 2000. He was baptized the following year and sensed the Lord’s call to ministry in 2007. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has also completed coursework at Reformed Theological Seminary.
Although Daniel has served in the local church for more than twenty years, much of his professional career was spent in the construction industry, where he served in leadership roles ranging from Installer and Project Manager to Vice President of Business Development and Managing Partner of a consulting firm he co-founded. The Lord has used those experiences to prepare him to steward people, systems, and resources for the good of Christ’s church.
Daniel joined the staff as Executive Director at The Axis Church in April 2025 and relocated his family to Tennessee that June. He and his wife, Erin, have been married since 2009 and are thankful to be raising their four boys—Marshall, Fletcher, Traveller, and Wellston—as part of the Axis family.
Outside of ministry, Daniel loves spending time with Erin and their boys, whether that’s around the dinner table, cheering from the sidelines of a game, or simply enjoying everyday life together. He’s an unapologetic Georgia Bulldogs fan (“Go Dawgs!”), enjoys the community at UFC Hendersonville, and has never been disappointed by a good cup of coffee paired with the writings of John Owen, David Powlison, or Sinclair Ferguson.
